After seeing the Manchester Taxi Tours article in the Flybe magazine months ago my girlfriends mum from Belfast was keen to do the tour. I was sceptical of what I was going to be shown of the city center considering I have lived and worked there for five year but was amazed at some of the places John took us.
Without spoiling the surprises that you will see if you go on the tour, I now know plenty of great things to show other people who haven’t been on the tour themselves. And you’ll be amazed at what you don’t know about the city with some hidden gems!
John himself was great; pleasant, knowledgeable and so passionate about his home city. As we turned each corner while driving through the center of town he had an interesting piece of information to tell us. He picked us up from my home, dropped us to where we were having lunch afterwards, and wanted to make sure we enjoyed ourselves as much as possible.
We had a two hour tour and only scratched the surface of what we could have seen. We will be in the New Year arranging another tour to see even more.
Highly recommend by someone who isn’t often excited by tours/museums etc…you won’t be disappointed!!
