Manchester is an amazing city and the intricate knowledge I built up through years of working on the city’s streets, coupled with the knowledge gained through studying to pass the Institute of Tourist Guiding qualifications , lead to the formation of Manchester Taxi Tours
The unique position I hold as Manchester’s only fully qualified tour guide/ taxi driver has given me a great sense of responsibility and anyone who has been on one of my tours will (hopefully) agree that I take my work very seriously, although not myself. The feedback I get through clients is amazing, I read my reviews on TripAdvisor with a mixture of pride and embarrassment.
What started off as a hobby, has now developed into a full time business and a great opportunity to show Manchester off to a wider audience. This has even involved making films for international television. Yes, I have to pinch myself sometimes to make sure it’s true.
