Fletcher Moss Park And Botanical Gardens
The Fletcher Moss Park and Parsonage Gardens are open every day of the year from dawn till dusk, with free entry for all. Fletcher Moss is a 21-acre park, well known for its botanical beauty and is home to some unusual plants and flowers. In the Parsonage Gardens, you’ll be able to see some interesting and rare trees that you’re unlikely to spot anywhere else. It’s a must visit for nature lovers, and makes for a perfect family day out.

Burton Road in West Didsbury is the place to be if you’re looking for independent bars and restaurants, making it the perfect place for foodies to eat, drink and socialise in the vibrant atmosphere. A few of our favourite picks include Folk which transforms from a super-cool café in the day, to a friendly drinking hot spot at night. They have a great selection of wine and locally brewed beers, as well as a hearty food menu on offer. Pinchjo’s can cover all of your tapas needs, with a selection of sharing dishes and the usual Spanish booze including bottled beers and Sangria, all served in a chilled-out atmosphere.
