No matter what football team you support, a trip to Old Trafford is an absolute must when visiting Manchester. The football stadium is the home of Manchester United F.C. and is the largest football stadium in the UK, with the ability to hold a capacity of over 75,000. It’s an impressive build and has been around since 1910. When visiting Old Trafford, there’s a chance to go behind the scenes with a stadium tour, and a special Manchester United museum.

Trafford Centre

No visit to Trafford is complete without a trip to Intu Trafford centre. It’s a large, out-of-town shopping centre filled with high street shops and designer brands, as well as an impressive food court with plenty of restaurants and fast food joints to choose from. It’s not short of fun things to do either, complete with an Odeon cinema, an arcade and even a mini golf course. The complex opens until late at night, and parking is free – what’s not to love?
