Getting to Manchester couldn’t be easier.
Manchester International Airport is the 3rd busiest Airport in the UK (23 million in 2015). With direct flights to over 200 worldwide destinations, it is situated 10 miles to the south of the City with direct train links, trams, buses or taxis available to take you into the city.
Piccadilly Station is the main rail station Manchester, and if travelling from London it can take just over 2 hours. Victoria, Oxford Road, Salford Central are all centrally located.
National Express Coach Station is situated on Chorlton Street, in the heart of the City.
The road network around Manchester makes access easy, although rush hour can extend journey times.

Manchester has a wealth of choice when it comes to accommodation, from hostels to five star luxury. Is the location of your accommodation important to you? There’s plenty of hotels located near the city centre, Universities, Airport, Old Trafford etc.
Things to do in Manchester.
You have your reason for coming to Manchester, but you’d like to have a look around the city and get to know where places are.
Lots of choices again, as there are many excellent guide books available. Pop into the Visit Manchester shop, arm yourself with a map and start exploring. Use the free buses to get around the city, or buy a day ticket for the Metrolink system. Take a guided walk from The Central Library at 11am every day at just £8.00 per person, there’s no need to book just turn up.
